What are Website Statistics?

Website Statistics is a term used to describe the methods of capturing important data and information about visitors to your website.

There are hundreds of different applications available for managing and capturing this information but we use the 2 most commonly found website statistics capturing applications which run directly on our servers.

By capturing Website Statistics you will be able to see various information about the patterns of activity on your website such as what time of day is the most popular, where your visitors found you from, which search engines a visitor used and even what search terms entered to find you.

You will also be able to see which search engines are visiting your website and how much of your website is being indexed by that search engine which can be useful information if you are paying to have your website Search Optimised as you should see the indexing by Search Engines increase.

Without Website Statistics you would never know if you even had a single visitor to your website unless they actually told you which most dont.

Our Website Statistics software is AWStats and Webalizer
