Genuine Environmentally Friendly Hosting!

Since 2000, WESH UK has been an exceptionally environmentally focused local web hosting company, doing everything possible to avoid wasting fossil fuels or even using them when unnecessary.

All of our staff work from home and always have, we don't rent expensive offices that need to be heated and serviced, and for many years we have been looking at getting into a proper 100% renewable energy-powered data centre. Now we have finally made that switch.

Many data centres and web hosting companies claim to be green but only ever go as far as spending money abroad on schemes that claim to plant trees to offset their usage 20+ years from now. (Bit late then), but we are now moving into a 100% renewably powered data centre.

The move will take place on March 20th 2023, and work will start at 11 pm, and we expect no more than 6 hours of downtime in the absolute worst case.

The new data centre is Reading-South:

6 Layers of security, even faster connectivity, and it's 100% powered by energy companies that source their power from renewable sources. (Hydro and Wind)

You can read all about it here:

We will be on duty all night, so if you have any queries or questions, don't hesitate to contact us via WhatsApp during the planned downtime.

You can WhatsApp message us via our 0800 telephone number or QR code found on our contact page here:

If you have any queries about the relocation to our new Data-Centre then please do ask.

From all of us, we thank you for your continued support and those who we support also thank you.
