New Account User Management changes

The problem:

As an account owner, you may have employee's or third party professionals helping with your website, who may need to access to support, or your cPanel(s) (Or not) or to be able to pay invoices.

If you simply give out your own login details, those people then have access to everything, and we don't know if it's really you or them we are receiving support queries from either.

Furthermore, if they are helping more than 1 of our clients, they previously had to use a different email address for every account they accessed.

The Solution:

Accounts are now separate entities to users, and accounts now have owners and users. The same person can also now manage multiple accounts.

Now, within your client area under "User Management," you can easily invite and assign permissions to authorised users.

The User Management Page:

Once you go to the User Management page to invite a user, simply enter their email address, tick the boxes to assign the permissions you want them to have and send the invite.

It really is that simple now.

Simpler and Easier to use for everybody:

This now allows you to change account ownerships if you are leaving a company and somebody else is taking over or allows you to give access to your cPanel without having to give out its username and password (Single sign-on) and even allows you to prevent them from changing your passwords too.

It also allows third party freelance workers to be able to access multiple clients accounts with just 1 logon if they are working for multiple customers of ours. This is extremely common where we have web designers, copywriters and more frequently recommending our hosting to their clients and need access to their cPanel or to raise a support ticket for that particular client/website.
