New .UK Domain names

Saturday, June 21, 2014

With the launch of the new .UK domain names recently, you can now register your .UK domain name through our domain ordering page here:
http://www.wesh.co.uk/customer.services/?m=claimyouruk

In order to register a .UK domain name, you MUST first have BOTH a matching .co.uk and .org.uk domain.

BOTH of your existing domains must be absolutely identical in all registration details, otherwise your new .UK domain name will not be successful.

For the first 5 years only, new registrations are restricted to holders of existing .co.uk and .org.uk domains.

Before trying to register any .UK domains, please, please take the time to do a proper WHOIS lookup of your existing domains and make any adjustments to the registration details as needed, via your client area, then re-check the WHOIS details to ensure they are identical, before you try to register a .UK. Even the owners registered email address MUST match.

The ONLY detail you will not be able to modify is the "Registered to" name, as this needs to be done directly by Nominet and they will charge you for it.

Failed registrations due to ignoring these rules are non-refundable but can be credited to your account.
